Men's Shed - Laverstoke

at The Old Pavilion Laverstoke Lane. Tues and Thurs 9.30-12.30. The Test Valley Men's Shed has been set up to provide a place where older gentlemen from Laverstoke and surrounding areas can gather and undertake practical projects of their own choosing. We hope the shed will provide a practical solution to the problem of loneliness in the older generation. Currently free, however once we are established we will be chargingsubs of approx £2 per week to cover the cost of refreshments.

Vetted and specially chosen volunteers from St Mary's Church visit residents who live in Overton or Laverstoke and are either housebound, elderly or would otherwise benefit from regular visits. Prayer is also offerred. Home communion is available by request.
